Initial Charging Instructions

  • Fill up to required level with battery grade dilute sulphuric acid
  • Charge at 12% of C10 capacity to 2.35 vpc and then at 6% of C10 capacity to 2.75 vpc. Minimum Ah input: 450% of C10 capacity for example for 6STP 100, the Minimum Ah input during initial charge should be 450 Ah.
  • filling Specific Gravity : 1.220±0.005 at 27°C

  • Rest period : 12 hours
